Wilmina Kramer was born March 17, 1920, the first of eleven children born to her parents Gerrit and Jane (Langstraat) Draayer. Wilmina was raised on the family farm near Maurice, Iowa and attended Maurice Community School.
On September 13, 1940, she married Henry Kramer and became the parents of three children, Henry W., Gerald, and Lois. They enjoyed 67 years together until Henry’s death in 2008. They lived on the Kramer farm until 1968, when they moved to Sioux Center. They moved to Crown Pointe in 2007.

As a young lady, Wilmina worked as an aide in the Orange City Community Hospital until her marriage. After her children were grown, she worked at Western Auto Hardware Store. She later accepted a position with Carrie Foods at Dordt College. She spent many happy years there and enjoyed working side by side with Dordt students.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother faithfully encouraging and praying for family members and others. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and attending their family events, programs, sporting events, and concerts. She sent birthday messages that always arrived on their birthday. She took pride in maintaining an immaculate home and loved cooking and baking. Her excellent meals were delicious and attractively displayed. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and doing word puzzles.

Wilmina was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. She served on various committees, attended Bible Studies, and served as a Pastoral Worker. She willingly helped make the Dutch pastry (pig-in-the-blanket) for the Sioux Center Christian School fund.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter, their spouses, 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren: Henry W. and Delores Kramer of Orange City and their family: Rachelle and Robert Wiersma, Alexis and Erica; Timothy and Pamela Kramer, Hope; Christine and Craig Veurink, Hayden, Joseph and Annika; Gerald and Barbara Kramer of Hilton Head, SC and their family: Charissa Kramer, Brynne Kasinger; Jonathan Kramer, Ann Rihimaa, Jacob and Alyssa; Michael and Aimee Smith, Ryan, Zoe and Hannah; Lois and Gene Huitink of Orange City and their family: Kevin and Kim Huitink, Jordan and Kaylie; Rebecca and George Scholten, Courtney, Geoffry, Lyndsey, Bryce and Cody.
