SICK ONLY TWO DAYS
Mrs. Lars Ericson Passes Away After a Brief IllnessMrs. Lars Ericson died at her home a few miles west of Hawarden Monday morning [March 14] after a short illness of only two days, from pneumonia and other complications. She and her husband returned Friday from Minnesota where they had been to attend a wedding and she was taken suddenly ill shortly after noon on Saturday. Medical aid was at once secured but she continued to rapidly grow worse and passed away at ten o'clock Monday morning.
The deceased is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Anderson, former residents of Union county. She was about forty years of age and came here from Sweden twenty-two years ago. She was married to Lars Ericson nineteen years ago. To this union seven children were born.
The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church in this city at three o'clock this afternoon. The bereaved husband and sorrowing children have the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends in their great loss.
