Mrs. A. L. Fritts died Monday afternoon, after an illness of some weeks. For some days prior to her demise she seemed to be in better health than at, any time during her sickness and there were strong hopes of her recovery. Thus the blow fell all the harder, as it was quite unexpected.
She was a good Christian woman and a loving'wife and mother,well known and liked by everyone.
She leaves a husband, two children and many other relatives to mourn her loss, while the whole community extends its heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved husband aud children in
this their deepest hour of grief. The
remains were laid to rest in t h e cemetery,
here Thursday, the K. of P. lodge taking charge of the'funeral.
(This is the family of Abraham L. Fritts born abt 1863 in WI, died 12 Dec 1847 Hudson SD The two children as reported in the 1900 census of Goose Lake SD were Edna born May 1897 and Cedne b. May 1888 SD. Abram was married to Ida 22 years at the time. )
