Mrs.Lawrence(Emma) Elits,77,of Ireton died Friday in the Orange City Municipal Hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Ireton. The Rev. Paul Sieveking officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Eilts, the former Emma Borchers, was born Jult 10, 1907 in Preston Township, Plymouth County. She married Lawrence Eilts Feb. 123, 1930 in Preston Township, They farmed in the Hawarden area 14 years and farmed near Ireton after March 1, 1944. They moved into Ireton in 1963. She was active member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Vernon and Bill, both of Ireton; two sisters, Minnie Witt of Hawarden and Mrs. Lyle(Marie) Stephens of Le Mars; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
