Clarence S. Berg, 76, of Hawarden, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, died Oct. 31 at a Hawarden hospital.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Nov. 4, at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Hawarden. The Rev. O. F. Pittack officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Alcester, SD, under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home of Hawarden.

Mr. Borg was born Oct. 31, 1898, in Sioux City. The couple lived in Alcester, SD, after their marriage and moved to Hawarden in 1942. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawarden.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Margaret) Witt of Hawarden; a son, John of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Johnson of Fort Dodge, IA; two brothers, Adolph of Sioux City, and Earl of Waterloo, IA; twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
