Mrs. William Albers, 83, of Alcester died October 20 at the Hawarden Hospital.

Services were at 2 P.M., October 24 in the Nathanael Lutheran Church at Alcester. The Rev. George Metzenthin officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of the Wass Funeral Home of Alcester.

Mrs. Albers, the former Maud Day, was born January 7, 1892, in Lincoln County. She was married October 22, 1913 in Canton.

She was a member of the Nathaneal Lutheran Church and was active in her church.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Harold and Floyd, both of Hawarden; a brother, Harry Day of Alcester; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
