Mrs. Gust Steeneck, 62, Alcester, died Oct. 1 at a hospital in Hawarden, Iowa.

Services were at 10:30 A.M., Oct. 4 in Nathanael Lutheran Church in Alcester. The Rev. George Metzenthin officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Wass Funeral Home.

Mrs. Steeneck the former Mabel Olsen, was born Nov. 28, 1912, in Union County. She was married Feb. 16, 1942 at Dakota City, Neb.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Marlin (Donna) Jurgensen of Alcester; two brothers, Ole of Alcester and Lester of Sioux City; a sister, Mrs. Vincent Pearson of Sioux City and three grandchildren.
