The daughter of Walter and Johanna Bultman Huebner, Delphine was born October 4, 1942 at Hawarden, Iowa. She attended school at Hawarden, graduating in 1960 and was a 1964 graduate of University of Northern Iowa where she was a member and past president of Kappa Theta Psi.
She was married to James 0. Farrell June 12, 1965 at Hawarden. They had made their home in Lake Forest, Illinois; Cresco, Iowa; Darant, Iowa; Guilford, Connecticut; Duneland Beach, Indiana, Collins, Iowa; and Spirit Lake, Iowa before making their home in Victor in 1986. She recently had spent 6 months in Pago Pago, American Samoa. She was employed with the HLV school district as a K-12 Media Director. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church at Spirit Lake.
She is survived by her parents of Hawarden; her husband of Victor; two children, Jon of Michigan City, Indiana and Lisa of Ames; her brother, Dallas of Hawarden; 3 sisters, Delores Bertram of Sioux City, Deborah Miller of Ankeny, and Dixie Johnson of Hawarden; and many nieces and nephews.
Delphine died Sunday, July 22, 1990 at the age of 47 years.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Dawn Adams on December 22, 1983.
