Sophia Dittmer, 78, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Ireton, died Sunday, March 16, in Littleton. Services were at 1 p. m. Wednesday, March 19, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton. The Rev. Paul Sieveking officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held in the Dow Funeral Home in Ireton.

Mrs. Dittmer, the former Sophia Ricklefs, was born April 7, 1907, in Deepwater, Missouri. She married Delbert Dittmer June 17, 1930, in Ireton. The couple farmed in the Ireton area until 1969 when they moved to Rolling Meadows, Illinois. In 1979 they moved to Littleton. He died February 11, 1984.

Mrs. Dittmer was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton.

Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Johnson of Littleton; a son, Bruce of Kansas City, Missouri, and four grandchildren.
