Six year old Michael Daniel Pohlen of Hospers was killed in a farm accident Tuesday evening. The Hospers Ambulance & Sioux County Sheriff's responded shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday May 27 to the farm of his parents, Daniel and Peggy Pohlen just south of Hospers Family members were doing yard work when Michael was accidentally struck by a skid loader. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Sioux County Mecdical Examiner.
