MARTIN BUCKLEY
Martin Buckley, age 88. of Rock Valley, died June 19 at the Hegg Memorial Hospital of Rock Valley.
Services were held Saturday at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church of Rock Valley.
Burial was in Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Father Donald Smith officiated: Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley was in charge of arrangements.
Martin was born April 15, 1903 near Rock Valley. The son of Martin and Anna (Maguire) Buckley. He farmed on the family farm until retirement in 1981 when he moved to Hull. In 1984 he moved to Rock Valley and on October 14, 1990 to the Valley Manor of Rock Valley.
Martin is survived by his brother Edward of Rock Valley; his sister, Mary Flanagan of Sioux Falls, and nieces and nephews.
