Mrs. H. Koobs, residing a couple of miles weat of Maurice, committed suicide last Monday morning after quarreling with her husband. She made the first atttempt with paris green, but bug poison did not agree with her stomach and she vomited it up. Mr. Koob took the rest of the stuff away from her and cast it in the fire. Shortly afterwards the misguided woman took strychnine and died soon afterwards in terrible agony. For sometime past the woman had threatened self destruction because of fomestic difficulty. The coroner's jury returned a verdict Tuesday containing an substance the above facts.
