We received a notice this week, in which we learned that Mrs. Francis Isabel, died March 6th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. Dillon, in Sioux Falls, SD., aged 90 years 2 months and 6 days. Grandma Isabel was well know in Alton and her death was not unlooked for. The many friends of Mrs. Dillon are in sorrow with her.
( Found that this was Mrs. Samuel Isbell, Frances Bentley born 25 Dec 1803 New Lison, Otsego New York. Husband Samuel Isbell 1802- Jul 5,1876 died at Chickasaw Co. IA. Children were - Edgar 1832, Myron 1834, mary 1836, Helen 1838, Charles 1841, Arlina 1843, Gertrude Mrs. Cornelius Dillon 1845, and Julis 1849. The Dillon family was found in the 1900 census living at Brandon, S. D. )
