FORMER BUSINESS MAN HERE DIES

Lyman A. Trump, 84, of Sioux City, a past Hawarden business man, died last Wednesday [June 11] in his home after an illness of a week.

Mr. Trump took over the management of the H. I. Trump Variety store here, after the death of his uncle.

He was born October 8, 1867, in Andrew, Iowa. Later he went to Maquoketa and then to Anamosa, Iowa.

Mr. Trump was among the first persons in Iowa to take finger prints for police departments for the purpose of identification and years ago was associated with the bureau of identification of the Sioux City police department.

His wife Louisa died in Sioux City July 26, 1950. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wynema Costar of Sioux City and Mrs. Susan B. Karr of Captiva, Fla.; a son, D. W. Trump of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and a grandson.
