JENNIE KLARENBEEK
Jennie Kiarenbeek, 89, passed away February 6 at the Prosser, WA Nursing Home with her daughter at her side. Memorial services were held and led by her beloved pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church. Burial was at the Prosser Cemetery.
Jennie Bloemendaal, daughter of Cornelius and Hattie (Bakker) Bloemendaal, was born on February l7, 1921, on a farm near Rock Valley. She graduated from the Doon Christian School. Jennie married Cornelius Kiarenbeek in 1941. They lived in Iowa until 1955, when they moved to the Yakima Valley in Washington State.
Survivors are her children; Cora and Ken Goodno of AK, Clarence (deceased) and Marie Klarenbeek, WA, Jolene and Ray (deceased) Holmes, WA, Hester and Norm Harding, WA, June and Michael McNair, WA, and Pamela and Ray Birchard, MT; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; sisterin-law, Pearl Bloemendaal, Sioux Center; sisters, Fannie Riemersma, WA, Margaret Roghair, Sheldon, Grace and
Elmer Van Den Top, Rock Valley and brother, Nick and Tressa Bloemendaal of Doon.
