Lee Trudeau, 77, of Alcester, S.D., died Saturday (March 28, 1992) at McKennan hospital in
Sioux Falls, S.D.

Services were Wednesday at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Beresford. Rev. Thomas Ryan officiated. Burial was'in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Beresford, under direction of Wass Funeral Home in Alcester.

Mr. Trudeau was born Sept. 21, 1914, near Alcester, son of Fred and Eda (Sequin) Trudeau. He later moved with his family to Hawarden, where he received his education and graduated from the Hawarden high school in 1934. In 1935, he returned to Alcester, where he farmed with his father and brother. He served in the army
from 1942 to 1945. He married Lillian Loe Sept. 30, 1947, in Beresford. He was employed by Powell Oil Co. and Farmers Union in Alcester. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic church and Alcester Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Alan and his wife, Tammie of Sioux City and James and his wife, Becky of Rapid City, S.D.; five grandchildren; a brother, Leonard of Alcester; and four sisters, Dorothy Patterson of Camarillo, Calif., Millie Toft of Chatsworth, Calif., Cordelia Coyle of Akron, la., and Lois St. Pierre of Beresford.
