Beth M. Eppink, 85, of Danville, Illinois, formerly of Washington, Illinois, died Tuesday, August 3, at her residence. Funeral service was Thursday at Lakeside-Barrick Funeral Chapel in Danville with the Rev. Alice Gwin officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens, Sioux Center, on Saturday with Pastor Greg Alderman officiating.

Mrs. Eppink was born April 18, 1919, in Sioux Center, the daughter of Dr. Neal and Kathryn Te Neltrup Jongewaard. She married Herman Eppink June 29, 1943, in Sioux Center. She taught school prior to her marriage.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington, Illinois, and was active with the Morning Star Society in the church, and also belonged to the Washington Women's Club. She and her husband enjoyed going to plays and eating out, and she enjoyed many crafts.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Judy (Dan) Sickmier of Westville, Illinois, and Betty (Bob) Wilhelmson of Mahomet, Illinois; and four grandchildren.

Memorials will be directed to the Morning Star Society at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington.
