While Mrs. J. A. (John) Kleinbekman was walking across a foot-bridge on the Floyd Rive last Saturday, she fell into the water. At the time of the accident she was carrying a little duaghter about four years old, and both floated down stream quite a distance before their cries brought Mr. Smith to their assistance who rescued them after both were nearly drowned. The little girl was immdeiately taken sick with diphtheria, and died Thursday afternoon.
