John Van Surksum, 81, of Chino, died Feb. 15 at his home. He was born in Sheldon, Iowa, and lived in Chino eight years. Retired, he was a dairyman for 29 years in Corona and Artesia.
He was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Chino.
Mr. Van Surksum is survived by his wife, Anthonetta; a son, John J. & Rebecca Van Surksum of Tustin; a daughter, Crystal K. & Art Bell of Corona; a sister, Johanna Van Batavia of Hull, Iowa; and 4 Grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 1994 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina Hills. Interment will follow.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Reformed Church of Chino.
