Mrs. George Wilkens, 71, Hawarden, died
Thursday at a Hawarden hospital after a
3 month illness.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday
at Trinity Lutheran church, with Rev, O. F .
Pittack officiating. Burial will be in the
Brunsville cemetery under direction of the
Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden.

The former Mary Marienau, she was born
Nov. 29, 1897, near Le Mars. She was married
Oct. 2, 1919, in Plymouth County. She lived
in the Brunsville area most of her life and
moved to Hawarden in 1964. She was a
member of Trinity Lutheran church.

Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Mrs.
Bernard (Rosie) Anderson of Hawarden; two
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two
sisters and three brother.
