Louis Vanderschaaf, 57, Orange
City, died Nov. 7, at a Davenport
hospital of injuries suffered Oct.
31 on Hwy. 67 when he was
struck by a hit and run driver.

Scott County Sheriff Pete Wild-
man held a man on a charge of driving
while intoxicated at Genesco, Ill.,
while he is questioned in connection
with the death of Mr. Vander-
schaaf .
