A. Groeneveld received the sad news of his mother's death last Friday afternoon. The funeral took place at Hull, last mOnday afternoon, Rev. Kriekard of that place conducting the services.
(Found that the A. Groeneveld most likely was Anne Groeneveld living in the area at the time. The name of the Mrs. Groeneveld could not be found. There is a Hendrik and Annetje Groeneveld buried at Hull but not that death death. Found what appears to be the A. Groeneveld family living in Perry, Lincoln SD in 1900 he was 36 years, wife Joanie 37, first two children born in IA, Gertrude 10, Ontie 7, Jennie 6, Lenora 4, John 2, George 10 mo. That compares with finding him in Sioux County up to 1894. )
