Former Ireton Man
Died In North
Dakota Last Week

Herbert M. Bailey of Wyndmere,
North Dakota, died in a Fergus
Falls hospital last week after a protracted
illness, Born in Iowa, April
3, 1876, he was married to Nettie
Houlton of Ireton, October 28, 1897,
who survives him with three sons,
two daughters, 17 grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren, all living
in that part of the country. Mrs.
Nellie Edwards of Le Mars was a
sister of Mr. Bailey. Mr. Bailey
grew to manhood near Ireton and
moved to North Dakota in 1902 and
lived there and in Fergus Falls,
Minnesota until his death.

Relatives attending from Iowa
were: Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Woolridge,
Mr. and Mrs. H. C, Landhuis
of Rock Valley, Mrs. Nellie Edwards
of Le Mars, Mrs. Richard Lemke of
Paullina, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. and
Mrs. G. L. and Ione Houlton of Ireton.
Mrs. Marie McCrory of Ireton
and Mr. and Mrs. N. O. Westre
of Hawarden also attended.
