Mrs. Emily Larson, 80, of Alcester died on Tuesday of last week in the Canton-Inwood hospital after an illness of several months.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Baptist church at Alcester with Rev. Wilbur Peterson in charge. Burial was in the Big Springs Baptist cemetery.

Emily Lindblom was born April 19, 1875, in Sweden and came to American with her parents as a child. The family located in the Big Springs vicinity where she grew up and attended school. She united with the Baptist church at Big Springs in her youth.

She was married to John F. Larson, also of Big Springs, who preceded her in death by many years. Following the death of Mr. Larson, she and her family moved to Alcester to live. Later she transferred her membership to the Baptist church in Alcester. She was the last member of the Lindblom family.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Iva Flood of Miami, Fla., Mrs. Flavia Thompson of Jefferson, Iowa, Mrs. Louise Holt of San Bernardino, Calif., and Mrs. Alpha Bartholomew of Canton. One daughter preceded her in death.
