Vollink, Teunis - 1888-1975

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City at 1:30 P.M., August 9 for Teunis Vollink, 86, of Orange City, who died at a rest home in Orange City August 6.

Services were conducted by the Rev. John Hellinga and burial was in a Sheldon cemetery.

Mr. Vollink was born at Alton November 10, 1888. He married Minnie Van Schepen March 9, 1913, at Ireton. They farmed in Sioux County and retired to Sheldon in 1954. Mrs. Vollink died May 15, 1961.

Mr. Vollink had resided in the Orange City rest home the past three years.

Survivors include three sons, Herman of Ireton, Fred of Hull and Gilbert of Sanborn; four daughters, Mrs. Art (Dorothy) Vanderbilt of Garden Grove, Calif., Mrs. Coert (Cynthia) Roskamp of Edgerton, Minn., Mrs. Lambert (Jeanette) Roetman of Hospers, and Mrs. Marion (Elma) Andringa of Orange City; 32 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; two half sisters, Mrs. Grace Aalders of Des Moines and Mrs. Alice Fredrickson of Sheldon, and two half brothers, Charles Vollink of Archer and Herman Vollink of Ft. Dodge.
