Funeral services for Eddie Weyers, 55, of LeMars, and formerly of Maurice, were held Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars. Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars. He died Thursday, Dec. 12, at the LeMars hospital following a brief illness.

Mr. Weyers was born October 23, 1919 at Maurice. He married Johanna Zeutenhorst May 15, 1968 at Dakota City, Nebr. He lived in Maurice and California before moving to LeMars in 1960. He had been an employee of Wells Dairy since 1967.

Survivors are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Carter, Mrs. Donald (Sherry) Galligo and Donna Weyers, all of California; a son, Edwin, also of California; nine stepchildren; two brothers, John of Lime Springs and Tony of South Gate, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Schroder of Orange City and Mrs. Gerrit Dolieslager of Doon.
