Funeral services were held at the Van Etten Funeral Home in Orange City at 10 A.M., October 20 for the Rev. Bert Vanden Brink, 82, of Artesia, Calif., a former Orange City resident, who died in California October 15.

Services were conducted by the Rev. John Hulst and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City. A service was conducted at Artesia, Calif., on October 18.

The Rev. Mr. Vanden Brink was born in 1893. He married Grada Lemsons June 30, 1931. After graduation from Calvin College at Grand Rapids, Mich., in 1930, he served churches in Wisconsin, Iowa and South Dakota. He retired in 1958 and moved to Orange City.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Ken of Orange City; three daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Betty) Spykerman, Mrs. Peter (Joyce) Van Engelhoven, and Mrs. Abe (Glenda) Kalsbeek, all of Phoenix, Ariz., 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
