Funeral services were held at St. Mary Catholic Church at Alton at 10:30 A.M., November 9 for Charles T. Pabst, 79, of Orange City, who died at the Sioux Center Community Hospital November 6 after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Marvin Hood and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Mr. Pabst, was born November 20, 1894, at St. Paul, Minn. He married Katherine Starkenburg March 15, 1943, at Orange City.

He operated a cafe in Orange City for several years prior to retiring in 1960.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, one daughter, one grandson, one step-daughter and three step-grandchildren.
