Word was received by friends here of the sudden death of Mrs. William Maris of Erie, Penn., who passed away Sunday, August 10, after suffering a heart attack. She was a long time resident of Sioux Center. Her husband, the late Dr. William Maris, was a practicing physician here.

Survivors include a son, Wilbur, of La Habra, Calif., three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Burial will be at Hull. No date has been announced. No memorial service will be held.
