Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Hawarden at 10 A.M., September 13, for Mrs. John A. Krusen, 90, of Hawarden, who died September 10 at the Hawarden nursing home after a long illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Arthur DeNeui and burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden.

Mrs. Krusen, the former Myrtle Bennett, was born November 14, 1894, at Lebanon, Mo. She was married June 16, 1901 at Elk Point, S.D. and they lived in the Chatsworth area. They moved to Hudson, S.D., in 1920 and near Hawarden in 1940. Her husband died April 10, 1955.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Marlow, of Hornick, a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Blanche) Haddican of Hawarden; a brother, Orville of Mitchell, S.D.; 22 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren and 58 great, great grandchildren.
