Hawarden - Mrs. Kearney Hemmingson, 65, died Monday, July 10, at a Hawarden hospital of a long illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Thursday in Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dwight Rengstorf officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. A prayer service was held at 8:30 P.M., Wednesday in the Dow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hemmingson, the former Velda Treiber, was born April 2, 1913, at Hawarden. She was married Feb. 14, 1932, at Hawarden, and lived in the Hawarden area all her life. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer worker at the Hillcrest Nursing Home.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Eugene of Madison, SD, Milo of Alcester, SD; six grandchildren, four great grandchilren; two brothers, Harold and Raymond, both of Omak, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Juella Barker and Mrs. Viola Buum, both of Omak, Mrs. Florence Feikema and Mrs. Donna Miller, both of Hawarden.
