ROCK VALLEY--Ronald Roy Thebert,44,Rock Valley,Iowa, a former Sioux City resident died Wednesday evening at his home after an apparent heart attack.

Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sr.Peter Catholic Church at Jefferson, SD. The Rev. Casimer T. Mociun officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. The Rosary was said at 7:30 Friday night in Meyer Bros.Colonial Chapel in Sioux City by the parish and the Epiphany Council 753 of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Thebert was born May 28, 1933 in Sioux City. He moved to Rock Valley in 1975 where he owned and operated the Windmill Inn. He married Arnetha H.Wiltgen Feb 12, 1953 at Mountain View, Calif. He was a graduate of Mauri Hill Prep School of Atchison, Kan. He also attended the University of South Dakota at Vermillion. While in Sioux City he worked for the U.S. Tobacco Co, for serveral years and also for General Cigar Co, until he moved to Rock Valley. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rock Valley and Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sioux City. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Epiphany Council 753, the VFW in Rock Valley, the Sioux Falls Antique Club and Siouxland Antique Car Club. He served with the Navy in Korea.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs.Tim (Ronda) Barry of Davenport, Iowa, and Miss Kimberly, at home; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Thebert of Jefferson, SD. his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Roy Shaffer of Sioux City; two brothers, Don D. of St. Louis, MO. and Jon B. of Albequerque, NM.
