Mrs. Ypma Pastor's Wife Passes Away.
Mrs. Lambert Ypma passed away at her home here (Sioux Center and funeral services were held from the 2nd Christian Ref. Church, of which her husband is pastor, on Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Hynen of Middleburg was in charge of the services. Mrs. Ypma has been a semi-invalid for years and was unable to recover from a recent operation and illness. Her husband was taken seriously ill this week and was confined to his bed for several days, thus making the bereavement doubly hard. The family have the sincere sympathy of the community. Mrs. Ypma's maiden name was Gertrude Wyer. (another source the Sioux Center Nieuwsbald it is Meyer) She was born in the Netherlands 60 years ago. Two daughters, Ida at home and Mrs. Ledeboer of Prinsburg, survive, also two brothers, who are here for the funeral.
