From the Sep 12, 1923 Sioux Center Nieuwsblad (Dutch) paper, translated -
Mrs. L. Wynia died of cancer at the age of 64 years. Mrs. Wynia was born Jun 20 1859 in Franeker Friesland Netherlands. She came to the USA in 1880 with her mother and family. On Mar 1, 1884 she married Lieuwe Wynia at Sioux Center. The following children were born to them. Frank b. 1886, Sam b. 1888, Johanna Mrs. Chris VanSchepen b. 1891, Myke b. 1894 he died in the May 3, 1895 cyclone, Myke 'Mike' born 1897 he died Sep 1, 1897. and Maggie b. 1900.
