L. Wynia passed away on Thursday. He had been ill for a long time with cancer.
(There is a family story in the Sioux Center Centeenial book of 1991 that can be copies for you by contacting the GSCGS. Lieuwe was born Jul 22, 1955 in Franeker Frieslad Netherlands.He was the son of Foeke and Maaike Bruinsma Wynia. He married Suster De Vries on Mar 1, 1884 in Sioux Center. They had six children, Frank b. 1886, Sam b. 1888, Johanna b. 1891, Myke b. 1894 d. 3 May 1895 in cyclone, Myke b. 1897 died Sep 1, 1897. Lieuwe died Sep 1, 1904 and is buried in the Sioux Center Cemetery)
