IRETON--Mrs. E. Emery Vlotho Sr.,61 of Ireton, died Jan. 16 in a Hawarden hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Jan 18 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ireton. The Rev.Paul Sieveking officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ireton under direction of the Dow Funeral Home of Ireton, A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Jan17 in the funeral home.

Mrs. Vlotho, the former Cleone Celeste Myers, was born Feb. 20, 1915, in Ireton. She was married Jan. 16, 1935, in Ireton. He died on Dec. 11,1967. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Emery Jr. of Rapid City, SD., and Jerry of Ireton; a daughter, Mrs. Danny (Janeille) Cain of Belmond; her mother, Mrs. Daisy Barlett of Le Mars; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bill(Marcella)Beckman of Cape Coral, Fla., and Mrs. Clarence (Rouletta) Halter of Le Mars; two step-sister, Mrs. Edwin (Evelyn) Swanson of Sioux City and Mrs.Tony (Dorothy) Solomine of San Diego, Calif., and two step-brothers Eddie Barlett of Cherokee and Claude Barlett of Hilo, Hawaii
