SIOUX CENTER--Mrs.Peter Wallinga,87,Sioux Center, died Thursday at a Sioux Center hospital of a brief illness.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Central Reformed Church. The Rev. Wesley Kiel officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery at Hull under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs.Wallinga, the former Delia Merrill,was born Aug. 24, 1889 at Hull, She was married Feb. 26, 1910 at Hull. Her husband died Nov. 16, 1937 at Hull. She spent most her life in the Hull area.

Survivors include a son, Dr. Merrill of Sioux Center; two daughters, Mrs. John (Edity) Bomgaars of Sioux Center and Mrs. Orvall (Harriet) Anderson of Racine, Wis.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. C.S.(Alice) Norland of Spencer and Mrs. George (Sadie) Davis of Brewster, Minn.
