R. D. Hunt, the caller for the Marshalltown orchestra, who was taken sick here a couple of weeks ago, died Monday night at the Depot Hotel in Alton. The remains were take to Bangor, Mich., for interment. His betrothed, Mrss Nora Norton, of Bangor, arrived last Thursday and remained by his bedside until the cruel hand of death carried him away. He was a member of the Masonic Order and during his illness he Brothers in the Lodge at this place rendered every assistance and care to make his suffering as light as possible.
