Clara L. Hanzen, 55, died Monday, October 2, 1995, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Clara Klein was born October 2, 1910 near Alvord, Iowa.

She married Ralph Trego on January 29, 1946, at Sioux Falls. They lived near Alvord. Her husband died August 11, 1949.

She married Emil Hanzen on January 10, 1958, in Alvord. They lived near Inwood and moved to Inwood in 1982. She moved to the Colonial Manor in Hudson in June 1993, and to the Fellowship Village at Inwood in January 1995.

In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter, Janet Trego of Clearwater, Florida; three brothers, Iven of Sioux Falls, Loren of Rock Valley, Iowa, and Earl of Rock Rapids, Iowa and one sister, Mrs. Harold (Alma) Crooks of Sioux Falls.

Services were held Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church in Alvord, with burial in Richland Cemetery at Alvord.
