Mrs. John M. Mouw, 87, of Orange City died Saturday at an Orange City hospital.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday at First Reformed Church in Orange City. Dr. Raymond Van Heukelom and the Rev. Perry Raak officiated. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City under direction of the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mrs. Mouw, the former Dora Van Meeteren, was born Aug. 17, 1890, in Newkirk. She was married Jan. 8, 1914, in Newkirk. The couple farmed in Middleburg and Boyden areas until 1950 when they retired to Orange City. Mr. Mouw died April 1, 1966. Mrs. Mouw had resided the last five years in Pioneer Memorial Home in Orange City.

She was a member of First Reformed Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William (Jeanette) Doppenberg of Orange City and Mrs. Jurr (Pauline) Vander Zwaag of Orange City; three sons, Morris of Sheldon, Donald of Orange City, and Wallace of Ireton; 21 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Maggie) Vande Hoef, Sr. of Sheldon and Jeanette Van Meeteren of Sheldon.
