ROCK VALLEY--Bill Muehlethaler, 84, Rock Valley, died Monday at a Rock Valley hospital of long illness.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Porter Funeral Homes. The Rev. James Frank officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Mr. Muehlethaler was born Oct. 16, 1892 in Sioux County, to Mr.and Mrs. Rudolf Muehlethaler. He served in World War I. He lived in Rock Valley until 1936 when he moved to California. He worked in a government shipyard there until he retired. He returned to Rock Valley in 1973.

Survivors includes a sister, Miss Amelia of Rock Valley.
