Orange City, Iowa-John Burrman, 95, Orange City, died Aug. 15 at an Orange City hospital.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Aug. 18 at the First Reformed Church of Orange City with the Rev. Raymond Van Heukelom officiating. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City under direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.

Mr. Buurman was born Aug. 2, 1881, in Orange City. He married Grace Dykstra Jan. 19, 1910, in Orange City. The couple farmed one and a half miles east of Orange City until retiring to town in 1945. She died in January 1971.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Matilda Vander Wilt of Orange City; two sons, John of Orange City and Clarence of Greenville, S.D.; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
