Maurice-Harold Jahn, 52, Maurice, died Aug. 22 at the Orange City hospital after a long illness.

Services were held at 10:30 A.M., Aug. 25 at St. John's Lutheran Church near Ireton. The Rev. Larry Miller officiated. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery.

A prayer service was held at 8 P.M., Aug. 24 at the Dow Funeral Home at Ireton.

Mr. Jahn was born May 13, 1924, near Maurice. He married Gertrude Vander Molen Feb. 15, 1946, at Maurice.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Rodney of Fort Dodge; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Ruth) Frohs and Mrs. Leland (Charlotte) Kramer, both of Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Borchers and Mrs. Jim (Helen) Jasper, both of Ireton, and Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Rockwood of Guam; and three grandsons.
