Sheldon-Mrs. Arie Bomgaars, 83, of Sheldon, died Sept. 1 at a nursing home in Hull.

Services were held at 1:30 P.M., Sept. 4 in Bethel Reformed Church at Sheldon, with the Rev. Paul Tanis officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery at Hull under direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bomgaars, the former Frances Versteeg, was born Dec. 24, 1892, at Orange City. She was married Oct. 25, 1912 at Leota, Minn. Mr. Bomgaars died Jan. 24, 1973.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Vogel of Hull, Mrs. Ray (Jennie) Wiekamp of Bellflower, Calif., and Mrs. Harley (Clazena) Dykema of Elma, Iowa; a son, Arvin of Council Bluffs; sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bolluyt of Edgerton, Minn., Mrs. Henry (Clara) Bouma of Hancock, Minn., and Mrs. Julius (Fredella) Marquette of Lakota, N.D.; brothers, Ted and Ray, both of Hancock, Minn., and Nick of Edgerton, Minn.; 19 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
