Hull-Theodore "Ted" Overman, 51, Hull, died Sept. 23 in the Sioux Center Community Hospital after a brief illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Sept. 25 in the First Reformed Church at Hull. The Rev. David Ter Beest officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery at Hull under direction of the Kraai Funeral Home of Hull.

Mr. Overman was born April 4, 1925, in Carmel. He married Dorothy Fiekema Jan. 5, 1945 in Rock Rapids.

He served in World War II with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Hull and was a plumber.

Survivors include the widow; three sons, Thomas of Toledo, Wesley and David, both at home; four daughters, Mrs. Larry (Gloria) Bylsma of Hull, Mrs. Arnold (Judith) Koele of Sheldon, Diane and Devorah, both at home; six grandchildren; two brothers, Marion of Hull and Teunis of Rock Rapids; four sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Henrietta) Franken of Rock Valley, Mrs. Lawrence (Rena) Bleeker of Sioux Center, Mrs. Bill (Gertrude) Spyksma of Auburn, Wash., and Mrs. Art (Dena) Wilderman of Rock Rapids.
