HAWARDEN--Mrs.Sam Blair, 77,Hawarden, died Monday at a nursing home in Hawarden.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden. The Rev. Gary Oliver officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Blair, the former Anna Elmitt, was born Oct. 30,1899, in Hawarden. She was married in Hawarden July 3,1917. Mr. Blair died April 21,1971. Mrs. Blair was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hawarden

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
