Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Christian Reformed church of Orange City for Dick Reinsma, 88, who passed away early Friday morning at his home in Orange City.

Mr. Reinsma was born in Vriesland, the Netherlands on April 30, 1878. He came to America with his parents at the age of 14. Mr. Reinsma was married on January 17, 1901 to Gertrude Korver. She died in April, 1944.

Survivors include nine children, Sophie Reinsma of Orange City, Martina (Mrs. John Kreykes), Jeanette (Mrs. Andrew Dokter), Jerry Reinsma, Mrs. Frances Duven, and Jennie (Mrs. Ralph Bouma), all of Orange City, Wilma (Mrs. Ike Woudstra) of Hospers, Rev. Wm. Reinsma of Grand Rapids, Mich., and John Reinsma of Sayville, N.Y.

The Rev. R. Tjapkes officiated with burial made in the West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Van Etten Funeral Home.
