Funeral services were held at Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City July 7 for Mrs. H. L. Van Wyk, 86, of Orange City, who died at the Orange City hospital July 5.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Donald Lenderink and burial was made in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

The former Cora Muilenburg was born at Orange City May 27, 1885. She taught rural schools in Sioux County for many years. She was married to H. L. Van Wyk November 26, 1914 at Orange City. The couple farmed southwest of Orange City until retiring and moving into town in 1957. Mr. Van Wyk passed away in 1963.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence and Eugene; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Leslie, all of Orange City; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
