Source & date unknown; likely from local Cheyenne, WY newspaper:

Anna E. Harsma, 94, of Cheyenne died Nov. 29, 2007 in Cheyenne.

She was born April 11, 1913, in Hull, Iowa, to Arthur and Fannie (Wiersma) Olivier.

Mrs. Harsma was the manager of Ladies Ready to Wear until retirement.

She loved being with her family more than anything. She enjoyed reading and sewing clothes for her daughters and granddaughters, all needlepoint and cross-stitch. Keeping a beautiful home and cooking were two great passions.

As a young woman at the time of her husband's death in 1949 and with three young children, Anna went on to make her mark in the retail sales of women's clothes, and developed a customer base that was the envy of her co-workers.

Mrs. Harsma is survived by daughters, Donna Marker of Cheyenne and Pamela and husband Tim Borger of Cheyenne; son Richard O. and wife Elaine Harsma of Cerritos, Calif.; grandchildren, David Bruce Marker of Cheyenne, Katrina Ann Harsma of Cerritos, Annissa Elaine Harsma of Diamond Bar, Calif., Elizabeth Dietz of Arlington, Texas, Rachel Ann Edeen of Cheyenne and Sarah Dawn Oman of Cheyenne; and great-grandchildren, Brianne Lopez, Alli Marker, Megan Marker, Seth Edeen, Jared Edeen, Micah James Oman and Jordan Lea Oman, all of Cheyenne.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents, Arthur and Fannie Olivier; brothers, Arend, Arie and Asa; sisters, Nell Scholten and Wilma Duits; and son-in-law, Bruce Marker.
