From The Alton (Iowa) Democrat, June 26, 1931:

MOTHER OF FIVE PASSED BEYOND SUNDAY MORN
Mrs. W. Kleinhesselink Was Fifty-Two Years Old

After a short illness of three weeks, Mrs. William Kleinhesselink, aged 52, passed away Sunday morning at 7:30 o'clock at her home at Maurice, leaving to mourn her husband and five children, namely: Viola, Early- who has been in the Navy four years- Nelson, married at home; Robert in the Army at Ft. Snelling, Minn., now home on fifteen day furlough; and Lester, at home. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. William Mieras of Yakima, Wash., three sisters and two brothers living in Washington state, and one sister in Belmond, Iowa.

Mrs. Kleinhesselink suffered a stroke three weeks ago, but seemed very much to be on the mend the last week. Sunday morning, however, she suffered another stroke which claimed her life.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. B. Colenbrander, pastor of the First Reformed church, Orange City, and burial was made at the Maurice cemetery.

A mother who guided her children into the paths of righteousness, taking the utmost interest in their well being, she will be sorely missed by all those who loved her so dearly. The family moved the past year to Maurice from Marcus, which was their home for a number of years.

The Democrat may but add its little word of sympathy to those uttered by hundreds of other friends in the hour of darkness for the bereaved family.

(Note: Fannie was the daughter of Nellie Mieras, who married William Boland, who apparently died. Then Nellie married her first cousin, William Mieras.)
